The katha behind Kantha Ki Katha
Every Kantha Ki Katha begins with a plain tussar art-silk drape. Our karigars then hand-work the Kantha embroidery across the entire border and into the square motifs on the body — each stitch guided by hand with a traditional needle tool, the way artisans have worked for generations.
The Madhubani motifs are drawn from Mithila's folk-art tradition and rendered as a fine digital print — which keeps the colours crisp and the saree light and premium — then framed by the hand Kantha that gives it its soul.
