Saree Care Instructions
At Tarunima, every saree is crafted with love and deserves gentle care to retain its beauty for years. Please follow these care guidelines:
General Care

Always dry clean your sarees for the first time.

Store sarees in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Use soft muslin or cotton bags for storage to allow fabric to breathe.

Avoid spraying perfume or deodorant directly on the saree.
Common instructions for our Dola, Tussar Silk and Modal satin Sarees

Can be hand washed at home in cold water with a mild liquid detergent.

Avoid hot water and harsh detergents, as they may damage the sheen.

Do not wring; gently squeeze out water or roll in a soft towel.

Dry in shade, preferably on a hanger, to avoid color fading.
Cotton and similar fabric, such as Linen cotton, Kota Cotton and Doria Sarees

Hand wash separately in cold water with mild detergent.

Avoid soaking for long durations.

Iron while slightly damp for best results.

Store by folding neatly; avoid hanging heavy cottons.

Use low to medium heat while ironing or place a cotton cloth on top before ironing.
Georgette, Chiffon & Crepe chiffon Sarees
